Fitness Friday-Mean Green Juice Recipe (Fat Sick and Nearly Dead Movie)

So have you ever juiced?  I watched the movie Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.  Joe is the main character in the movie who takes on a journey to find a way to help himself.  The movie is really informative.  I learned so much that I even decided to take on the juice challenge.

I have decided to reboot~juice fast~for 10 days.

What? Yes, crazy huh?  Juice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks

When?  For 10 days

Where?  Everywhere.  I will juice at work and at home.

Why?  I have been trying something of everything to lose the excess weight on my body.  I have lost all of the baby weight I gained.  But see before I got pregnant I was not where I needed to be-health wise.  I have been eating right ever since before I was pregnant and was on my way to lose the weight when I got pregnant.  And now I can't seem to lose anything.  I have hit a plateau.  So I am trying juicing.

My concerns?  I am still nursing, and I do not want to lose my milk.  I want to make sure I am getting enough nutrients.  I want to make a change for life not a fad diet and not gain it back.

Check out the next Fitness Friday for the results.  My challenge started Monday and ends next week.  A little teaser-I am loving juicing!!

Here is a power punch juice recipe for you to try:

Ingredients:

1 cucumber
4 stalks of celery
2 green apples
6  kale leaves
1/2 lemon
1 ginger root (thumb size)

Or do your own variation of what works for you.  Do you think you could eat all the above for one meal?  This is what is in one of my juices.

***Disclosure-I am not a doctor, or pretend to be.  I am trying this out on my own and sharing my results with you.  Stay tune to next week for the 10 day Reboot challenge update.
