Prom review

15 yrs ago, I was a Senior at James Madison Sr High School. Prom was in the air, just as it is now. Back then-I was looking for a dress, wondering who I was going to prom with, and was so excited for that day to come. Funny thing is I took my sophomore boyfriend to the Prom.
I won 2 tickets at a school raffle. My friends and I shared a limo ride to the Crown Plaza Hotel where our Prom was. Prom was so much fun! Prom is a right of passage for all Seniors.
This movie was a very cute movie. My husband, son, and I were invited to a special screening. The movie was really good. It took me back to some memorable moments in my life. Even if you did not go, after watching the movie you will want to have gone. Now-My husband wants to attend Prom. He missed out on his Prom. He has told our son, we will be attending Prom with him. We all loved the movie, and recommend you should watch it too.

At "Prom," every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; "Prom" portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite.
For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it's a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell)
who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De'Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school's most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there's only one "Prom." Featuring an emerging ensemble cast and a powerful soundtrack, "Prom" hits theaters April 29, 2011.

***Disclosure-No monetary compensation was received. My family was invited to a special private screening of this movie. Prom has been Independentmami viewed, and Independentmami recommended. These are my honest opinions.

Way to reveal your age Alba! By the way when I saw your prom pic I LOL'ed bc I got reminded of my own prom and how gross my hair looked and how ugly my dress was. ugh. Wish I could re-do that moment.

Also, please don't let Lupe embarrass Matthew at his prom HAHA!
