Dear Me - Happy International Women's Day

Happy International's Women's Day!

I heard on the radio station that today was celebrated as a day to celebrate women everywhere.  Also that several people were going on You Tube making videos.  But the part that most interested me was that they were talking to themselves.  So this is my letter to my younger self:

Dear Alba,

I am you many years from now.  I have a husband, 2 kids, and the corner office job.  Yes, I do.  It wasn't easy.  As you know, life has not been easy to you.  And there are somethings I want you to know.

You are beautiful.  Your glasses do make you look smarter.

You think you are fat, but you are not.

Try, try out, attempt, take chances.  You never know where it will take you.

There so many people that will come in to your life that are really good.  They will help you.

Make more friends.  You will be surprised at how many people remember you and you not remember them.  Yeah, the memory goes when you get older.  You are good at making friends.

You are a NERD, and who cares.  It is a good thing.

But the most important thing I want you to remember is to be HAPPY.

With Love,

I don't regret my past because it made me who I am today.  When I was younger I wish I would have known that life is happening with or without me.  That my problem of the day was not going to be my problem tomorrow.  Everyday we face different issues that we all think are so world ending but they are not.  That you can choose to live life HAPPY.  Not to let unhappy people ruin your life.  Falling down hurts but you can't go any further down.  Get up, don't stay down.

Live life, Don't let life live you.
