Recap of Latism'12

Latin@s/Latinos In Social Media And Tech Innovation - LATISM

So thanks to my wonderful sponsorship by Johnson & Johnson, I was able to attend my very first LATISM conference.  There was so much to do, so much to see, and so much to learn.  I was joined by some #HoustonBloggers Joanna from Madame Mariposa, Christy from My Timeless Blessings, and Pamela from A Renaissance Woman.

We had an amazing time at the Southwest Bienvenida Party trying to learn how to 2 step, listening to Caliente and watching the story of the Llorona from HSPVA! (OUR FUTURE)
Day 2-We started our day at McDonalds Breakfast.  Did you know the egg mcmuffin has been around for 40 years?  WOW...
I spent the Day 2 and Day 3 going around to the classes and learning.  I even got to test drive a Toyota Prius.  I didn't even know the car was on.  It is push start and the car is so quite.  I thought it was still off.  Samba dancer, Folklorico dancers, Latinos with so much talent...
I got to play the WiiU.  I am such a competitor.  I played Mario and even the sore loser in me can play this game.  Just Dance 4 was so much fun.  I burned so many calories while playing this game.  Have you ever seen bloggers in dresses play Just Dance?
Hasbro has my daughter's future doll.  She is learning to walk.  She is bilingual.  She is Baby Alive.  All of her Christmas wish list was there.  I took pitt stops at the Southwest lounge, charged up my phone and my tummy with airline favorites like pretzels, peanuts, and drinks.  I got to interview an amazing woman, future post to come with a video.  Stay tuned!!  Coca Cola gave us an AAAAAAhhhh moment with the speakers at the Adelante Movement.

Did you follow my tweets?  The panels were full of powerful Latinos/Latinas with so much knowledge.  LATISM was an experience.  Next year, New York.  The big apple.  I have never been.
