Cool down this Saturday with ice skating, prizes, games and free lessons HOUSTON –

Looking for a family friendly and “chill” activity to do this weekend? Join the Ice of Galleria located inside the Houston Galleria Mall for its first annual Summer Ice Fest this Saturday, June 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00pm for free introductory classes, giveaways, prizes, games and skating exhibitions.

In addition to all the fun activities planned, Ice of Galleria will be giving each guest a one dollar coupon with the purchase of admission. Ice of Galleria will also be providing free lessons for children ages six to thirteen. Lessons include 15-minute introductory Learn-to-Skate classes every hour as well as a free 15-minute introductory hockey class that will take place at 12:30 p.m. If your kids enjoy their “mini lesson,” Ice of Galleria will be offering discounts on Learn-to-Skate classes and summer camp, great programs to keep your kids cool and active this summer.

The Summer Ice Fest fun doesn’t end there. Ice of Galleria will have their beloved penguin mascot, Chillsworth, on and off the ice visiting customers, an area to create snow castles and lastly ice skating exhibitions featuring some of our talented Learn-to-Skate students.
