Yanni Voices

Have you ever heard of Yanni or Yanni's music. I received a cd copy of Yanni Voices to review. All opinions stated are my own based on my personal experience. 

It is a collaboration of Yanni's music with vocals, first time this has been done. I decided to pop this cd in and see what it was about. I love all kinds of music. When I popped it in I was in my kitchen ready to cook dinner for the fmaily after a long day at work, and how amazed i was. The music is so moving. The vocals are great. The next day I was not ready to clean the house but I played Yanni Voices and turned it up until I finished cleaning my house. I felt like dancing at times, and trust me, me and the mop were great. As the cd played, each song kept getting better and better. So inspirational at times, moving at others, and soothing when necessary. I took it with me to play on my way to and from work. It was a great way for me to clear my head before and after work. I have never had a cd that I loved every song. I kept playing it over and over. It is great for listening when taking a great relaxing bubble bath as I just did. I loved this cd. My favorite song was #7 Mas Alla. It is in Spanish. The vocals from Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Ender Thomas and Leslie Mills were a great addition to the wonderful compositions.

When life happens

So I have to confess, I have relapsed and have not gotten back on my Wii Fit for a week.   Life gets complicated and then what happens no "me" time. I have had a breakthrough though.  I went to get my bridesmaid dress for my bestfriend's wedding. I had an eye opener when I had to try dresses on. WOW....That's my size.  How is my wedding dress that I already bought ever going to fit again when I am double the size.  Yes, you heard me. I am double the size I was when I tried and bought my wedding dress.  I am getting married this year and my dress doesn't fit. I am being honest by saying losing weight is really a battle between you and you. So today I blog about my weight. I have gained over 30 pounds over the past year...yes the 30 pounds I lost, I refound. I know when the tough get going we quit...because we can't give up on ourselves. I am not giving up. I am determined to lose the weight before my wedding not just to get in my dress but because I want to live a healthy life. With this said, we must incorporate fruits and vegetables in our diets. Remember to eat breakfast. I get so busy in the day at work I forget to make time for breakfast. Schedule breaks for yourself in between the breakfast and lunch, and lunch and going home to dinner. I am going to start again. And if by next week I fail, just remember I will start again. My war is not over until I say it is over. Game on. I'm ready.
