For tonight, we decided to leave behind the wavy hair look and go with a smooth and sophisticated straight hair look that makes a bold statement and is the perfect complement to her sexy metallic dress. 1. Step 1: To start the transformation, I blow-dried her hair using a big round brush to straighten from root to tip.

2. Step 2: Once dry, I separated her hair in top and bottom layers, clipping the top layer to keep it out of the way. Then, I sectioned the bottom layer in 2-inch sections and sprayed with Pantene Pro-V Stylers Heat Protection Spray to protect from heat damage and enhance shine. Using a flat iron, I straightened each section from root to tip, taking 3-5 seconds per section. Once the bottom layer of her hair was completely flattened, I repeated the above steps to the top layer.

The night was full of fashion, entertainment, celebrities, and beauty! Pantene and COVERGIRL presented Gabriela Moya and Sandra Beltran the Emerging Designer icon awards that night. Carolina Herrera was the special honored guest of the night as she received the top Icon of Style award, presented by master of ceremonies, Lili Estefan, from Univision’s EL Gordo y La Flaca TV show. Lili Estefan’s makeup artist and hairstylist, Franz Muñoz, teamed up with Pantene and COVERGIRL to create the red carpet glam look for Lili Estefan that night to accompany her Angel Sanchez runway dress.

Leslie Grace with Olay, Pantene, & COVERGIRL

For last night’s show at #PremiosJuventud 2012, upcoming artist, Leslie Grace (Dominicana) performed her first single “Will You Still Love Me ,” which mixes the rhythms of bachata with a flavor of the 60s. She wanted her look to resemble a diva from 60s but at the same time, looking modern, youthful and natural for these youth awards.

 These tips are being shared on behalf of her makeup artist and stylist, Annexie:
Face
· First, I applied Olay Total Effects Daily Moisturizer to prep her skin and give her a soft and fresh look. Then, I applied Olay Total Effects Line & Dark Circle Minimizing Brush under her eyes to minimized dark circles. Then, I used a little of Simply Ageless Eye Concealer in light medium 215 because it provides great coverage! I love it for day and night!

Afterwards, I applied COVERGIRL Cheekers Blush in Plumberry Glow 140 to her cheek bones to add a soft rosy glow to her already beautiful and tan skin tone. Eyes
· I used Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadows in Blossom 257 on her crease to brighten her eye color. This color looks fantastic on her! For her lashes, I used LashBlast Fusion Mascara in Very Black 800 because I wanted to achieve a intense, bright eye. This mascara provides great volume and made her lashes look longer.
Lips
· I finished the look with a nude lip color using COVERGIRL Lip Perfection Lipcolor in Delish 255 to give her a neutral tone and this way I made emphasis on her 60s eyes.

Hair

Songstress, Shaila Durcal’s glamorous look for Premio Lo Nuestro was inspired by the performance of the remix of her third single “Tanto Amor” and was created to smoothly transition from the red carpet to the live stage. Shaila’s dress for the performance was a one-of-a-kind creation with a corset, numerous layers of black tulle, and a striking metallic blue application. The stage was artistically set to appear as a painter’s studio.
SKIN CARE
· The key to a beautiful look starts with great skin. To create Shaila’s gorgeous glow Ariel used Olay Total Effects Age Defying Wet Cleansing Cloths to hydrate and clean the skin.

· To moisturize the skin Ariel applied Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Revolution Complex, which instantly smoothes away the look of fine lines and wrinkles so she was camera ready.

MAKEUP

· The central focus of Shaila’s makeup was a dark, smokey eye with blue and purple tones that went perfectly with her outfits for the evening. HAIR

· Then, he rolled up hair section by section and pin set it until the very last moment. As Shaila was almost ready to go, Ariel released all pins and shook her hair in place with his fingers.

Univision's Lourdes Stephen by Pantene & CoverGirl @ Magia De La Moda

Lourdes Stephen looked stunning last night in Miami as the mistress of ceremonies for the “Magia De La Moda” fashion show by Isabel Toledo & Televisa’s Vanidades Magazine, part of Miami Fashion Week (Funkshion). The popular television reporter from Univision’s “Sal y Pimienta” show looked radiant in a silver dress by Mandalay and black heels by Christian Louboutin. The show was presented by CoverGirl & Pantene as all the models rocked the latest makeup and hair styling products from these two iconic beauty brands. Isabel Toledo’s runway show for Spring 2012 took place in the historic Moore Building in the Design District and was her first time ever showing in Miami. She currently also has a collection partnership with Payless. In attendance were Miami’s top beauty bloggers and editors along with VIPs such as actresses Marlene Favela and Geraldine Bazan, Isabel’s husband and co-designer Ruben Toledo, Vanidades Editor-in-Chief Jacqueline Blanco, fashion designer Adriana Castro, singer Elijah King, and the “My CoverGirl” sweepstakes winner Jany Rodriguez.

Makeup artist Jessica Rivera tells us how she managed Lourdes’ look backstage using COVERGIRL:
