But before Danny can defeat anything, he must first learn to control his new found powers with the help of his best friends, tech-head Tucker and self-proclaimed goth Sam.

If you have a teen who likes this series, you will want to get them this DVD.  My boys grabbed the popcorn, snacks, and drinks so they could watch this DVD.  But you don't have to be a boy or a teen to get into the story line.  Parents will also like the adventures.

DREAMWORKS ANIMATION’S TURBO FAST LAUNCHES

AS FIRST-EVER NETFLIX ORIGINAL SERIES FOR KIDS

ON DECEMBER 24

The first-ever Netflix original series for kids, DreamWorks’ Turbo FAST is a high-octane ensemble comedy that amps everything up to the extreme as Turbo and his adrenaline-fueled crew go on daring new adventures, race on the coolest tracks, and take on the craziest challengers. No matter how wild things get, these snails always have each other’s backs.

Stunt Team members -- Turbo, Whiplash, Burn, Smoove Move, White Shadow, Skidmark and Chet -- already have legions of fans from their appearance in the DreamWorks Animation’s feature filmTurbo, which opened in theaters around the globe earlier this year. The all new television show digs deeper into the crazy personalities of the snail crew and features 2D design to create a stylized look reflective of the Stunt Team’s fast-paced, souped-up world. Reid Scott from Veep lends his voice to show’s title character, and comedian Ken Jeong reprises his role from the feature film as the fan-favorite manicurist turned home shopping icon Kim Ly.

I just became the cool mom in my teen's eyes again.  When I opened this packaged and he saw what it was, I got the high-5, you're cool mom.  I do not get that ever if at all anymore.  But I know this is the kind of movies he likes and series he has always like.  He and I sat down and watched these.  They were entertaining.  Boys will be boys, is all I have to say.  We both liked them and recommend them for families!

Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters - Darkness of Heart Review

***Disclosure-Sample product was received.  All opinions are based on my own personal experience.

I could not tell you what Kaijudo was or how to pronounce it but when my 14 year old opened the package containing this DVD he knew exactly what it was.

Kaijudo is one of my son's favorite series.  It just happens to be about a 14 year old too.  It is an action-fantasy animated series.  A story about Ray, a young hero, and his adventures with the Duel Masters.

When 14-year-old Ray is recruited by the mysterious Duel Masters, he and his friends, Gabe and Allie, find themselves in a dangerous dimension where they must defend themselves – and Earth – from the evil mastermind known as the Choten. In these five exciting new episodes, Ray is temporarily blinded when battling a creature called Shaw K’naw, the kids investigate mysterious creature abductions, and Ray must enter the Darkness Civilization first to rescue Allie’s father…and then to rescue Allie!

Produced by Hasbro Studios and Wizards of the Coast, KAIJUDO: Rise of the Duel Masters: Darkness of Heart  features the voice talent of popular actors Scott Wolf, Freddy Rodriguez, John DiMaggio, Oded Fehr, Phil LaMarr, David Sobolov, Kari Wahlgren and Jason Marsden.
