Werther’s Original® Baking Bash MommyParty

I am so happy I was picked to host a Werther’s Original^® Baking Bash MommyParty.

Last year for my daughter's birthday I tried to make Caramel Apples.  I can honestly tell you I was doing too much and bombed.  I was so upset because it was part of my theme.  My husband saw how frustrated I was and came to the rescue.  I had burned the cornstarch or something and I had quit.  You can't rush that process.  When I received this party kit and saw the recipe ideas, I was ready to try again.  But that was not the only thing included in the party kit, the Werther’s Original^® "Baking Bash" MommyParties Kit includes:

The Werther's Original Caramels are easy to use and make delicious tasting apple desserts for any party you are hosting.  These came out perfect.  I didn't mess them up or burn the caramel.

Before the party guests arrived, we had Caramel Mocha Hot Chocolate ready for them.  It only took 15 minutes to make.

milk, sugar, instant coffee, chocolate (i use the caramel instead), Werther's Original Baking Caramels, and whipped cream

Fast Metabolim Diet "Make and Take" MommyParties

Thanks to Mommy Parties and Random House for sending a party kit with sample product, gc, and coupons.  All opinions you will read about are our own based on our experience.

I was chosen to host Fast Metabolism Diet "Make and Take" MommyParties, sponsored by Random House!  I invited 10 of my friends and they each received their very own copy of Haylie Pomroy's The Fast Metabolism Diet - new release, recipe cards featuring Haylie's tried and true recipes, and samples from Applegate sausage, Celestial Seasonings tea and more!

We learned how The Fast Metabolism Diet works:

The book also comes with 4 weeks' worth of recipes....yes 4 weeks!  I really like that there are tuna recipes.  I am tired of the tuna salads I make.  I have eaten my fair share and my ladies agreed when I said it is not the chicken of the sea...lol.

I made a tuna buffet using several of the recipes in the book and they were yummy. 

Now everyone has the tools they need to get started and we no longer have to be afraid of the word DIET!

MommyParties Presents Ridemakerz

We were selected to host MommyParties sponsored by Ridemakerz. We received our kit which included:


-(10) Xtreme Customz assortment of starter kits (i.e. Spiderman, police car, Corvette, Viper, etc.).

So our Ridemakerz (boys) started showing up ready for our fun filled build your ride experience. 

We had car building stations as the kids each picked their Ridemakerz.  They got to building their ridez.

EXTREME CUSTOMZ experience.  You get to build your own ride.  How fun is that.  Our boys were so excited.  All I kept hearing was cool, this is so cool, and cool!!  You can mix it, match them, or make them your own.  The boys were building and racing.  The boys were really surprised when they found the adjustable suspension-race, off road, lifted, or jacked.

My thoughts-Boys will be boys.  Boys love to build things and take them apart.  With Ridemakerz Extreme Customz, they can pick from a traditional car or a superhero car.  Then they build it.  It has a few small parts like the wheel, rim, etc...  The boys learn to put it together on their own or if they need help it is not hard to show them how it goes together.  The parts are easy to take apart and start all over.  Only problem I see is that they want all the carz to collect. hahhahha...hello birthdays, Christmas presents....

We had so much fun playing and learning with all the kiddos that came over to Lil Bit's play date.  It is so much fun to see the kids light up when a song they know plays.  I am always amazed at how kids learn so fast.  These two learning toys can always be taken on the go.  My daughter plays all day long with them and loves to take them on the go.

So as soon as I heard I would be hosting a party, I started planning my party. The first person I told was my son. He loves Nutella. I remember the first time he tried Nutella. He went to a French camp last summer for a week. He learned alot of things and tried new foods. Nutella was one of the new things he learned about. He camp home begging me to buy some. I had never seen this boy be so excited about some food. I have been a fan as well, ever since. So he was as excited as I was to know that we would be hosting a party and the goodies we would be receiving.

With everything prepared for our party, guest were invited to join us for some breakfast. Breakfast was a fun get-2-gether talking about recipes and enjoying some Nutella. Guest learn that Nutella is a hazelnut spread. Nutella has no artificial colors or preservatives. I love the the kiddos love it. I love it myself.
