HUGGIES Little Movers Slip-On Diaper Pants Review

Thanks to Mom Central Consulting for sending me HUGGIES Little Movers Slip-On Diaper Pants samples to review. All opinions that will be stated are my own from our personal experience.

Learning to walk was a pretty big milestone for our little one.  My daughter took her very first steps on New Year's Eve right before the clock struck midnight.  She is still learning how to walk and control her legs and feet.  But she thinks she is a professional runner who can't be stopped.

Diaper changing has become a game to her.  She tries to runaway as fast as she can, and we have to catch her to change her diaper.  This is not fun for mom, especially not dad, grandma, or sibling.  She was already a little wiggly monster but now she can and will run away.  Everyday we are always on the go, so trying to catch a toddler to change her is not part of the schedule.
So I was very excited to try the HUGGIES® Little Movers Slip-On® Diaper Pants.  As you can see from the smirk on my daughter's face, she was ready to to run.  We joke, as shout "We have a runner loose" when my daughter starts to sprint away from us.  It doesn't matter who is changing her.  She even runs from grandma, my poor mom and mother in law.  Our first fit was the perfect fit, no complaints for the kiddo.
Here are the things I like-

-I can stand her up and she puts her legs in without any fuss.  It is fun for her to slip the Huggies on.
-The sides stretch and make it easy to slip on.
-I do not have to adjust the tabs after we slip the Huggies on.
-When it is time to change her, we just snap them off.

So we no longer have a runaway toddler, well sometimes.  Lil Bit really likes to slip these Huggies on.  It is no longer a challenge.  No more fighting or fussing for her to lay still.  I no longer have to readjust the snaps because I snapped them really fast just hurry up and get them on her.  And best of all, I don't have to look for a changing table anymore because not all places are diaper changing friendly-learned this the hard way.  try changing a wiggly toddler on your lap.

Huggies Little Movers Slip On Pants have been Lil Bit tested and are grandma, daddy, brother, Lil Bit, and Independentmami approved.

Lil Bit wants to know if you would like to try them on your little ones?

My Top Tips to Tackle Parenthood

You know it has been 13 years since I had a little one around and it kinda does come back to you and it kinda doesn't.  I feel like a first time parent all over again.  Everyone gives you advice of how to do things, and what will happen but nothing really prepares you.  Abd even with experience, every baby is different.  But I have some tips to maybe help you along the way and make things easier on you:
1)  It Takes 2-Team Work.  From the beginning, my husband and I have tackle the messes together.  Whether it is support, an extra hand, or a back up, he is always there.
2)  Tag Your It-Take Turns.  You are the Mommy and he is the Daddy.  Tag him in every now and again.  You need a break.  No matter how small the break is, take it.  You deserve it.
3)  Laugh It Off-Poop happens, that is me saying it in a nice way with nice words.  You will laugh about it later, why not laugh now.  My husband and I have had some moments.  I just bust out laughing with tears rolling down my eyes from laughing so hard.
4)  Their Babies Poop Does Too Smell-Those keeping up with the Joneses need not keep up with them.  We aren't perfect.  Just be you.
5)  It Takes A Village-Allow friends and family to help.  If they are asking to help, let them.  And even if they don't volunteer, ask them.  They won't know you need help unless you tell them.  Especially is you have been doing #4 and everyone thinks you are perfect.
6)  Wake Up And Smell The Poop-Enjoy every moment.  Kids grow up so fast.  You don't want to miss it, because it will pass you by.  I love smelling my kids when they are babies.  That baby powder smell.  I like watching them as they discover their world.  And am there to hold them as their adventures begin.
