H-E-B March for Babies Tearpad
MARCH OF DIMES TEXAS CHAPTER AND H-E-B LAUNCH STATEWIDE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
HOUSTON – March of Dimes Texas Chapter is pleased to announce the launch of H-E-B’s tearpad fundraising campaign benefiting the 2012 March for Babies. The campaign, taking place from February 10 – April 1, 2012, offers Texas H-E-B and Central Market customers the opportunity to contribute to the March of Dimes by adding a donation in increments of $1, $3, or $5 to their total grocery bill.
Last year through the March of Dimes tearpad campaign, H-E-B raised $220,000 to support March of Dimes March for Babies making H-E-B the #1 fundraising team in Texas. To locate or find additional information about a participating store, visit heb.com and enter your ZIP code.
“H-E-B happily invites our customers to help us exceed last year’s terrific fundraising results for March for Dimes,” said Winell, Herron, vice president, Public Affairs and Diversity for H-E-B., and a member of the March of Dimes’ Texas State Executive Committee. “March of Dimes’ objective of ensuring that all babies have a chance to grow up strong and healthy is in perfect sync with H-E-B’s goal of providing healthy, fresh foods to Texas families. Working together, we can make a real difference in the life of an unborn child by providing better pre-term information, care and nutrition for his or her mom,” she added.
March for Babies, the March of Dimes largest fundraiser, helps fund lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at helping moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. For more information on March for Babies events throughout Texas this spring, visit marchofdimes.com/texas.
