Travel Tuesday-Howl-O-Scream @SeaworldTexas #Wildside14

***Disclosure-Back in April, I announced I was a Seaworld Wildsider for 2014.   I told you I would be going on some amazing adventures throughout the year as part of me being a Wildsider.  This is one of the many adventures I have been on this year.  Thanks to Seaworld San Antonio, I received a special invitation which included Fright Feast dinner show ticket, and a Fear Pass for myself and my guest.  And now to tell you about my adventure...

I have never been to the park in the Fall.  Normally we only visit during the Summer time when the kids are out of school.  But every year, the kids get a Fall holiday which is in the beginning of October.  Seaworld will be our destination, next Fall holiday.

Things to know about Seaworld this Fall:

1)  SeaWorld San Antonio Howl-O-Scream Fright Feast
Looking for a place to take a date to dinner.  How about dinner and a show?

Menu to Die For:
  • Iceberg Wedge Salad with Candied Pumpkin Seeds, Heirloom Tomatoes and Spiced Pumpkin Ranch Dressing
  • Seared Tenderloin
  • Mushroom Crab Ragout
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Roasted Baby Carrots
  • New York Style Cheesecake with Sweet Mascarpone and Cognac Macerated Mixed Berries
  • Tea, Coffee and Water
  • Beer and Wine are available for purchase at the Cash Bar. The bar accepts cash only.

You do have to buy a ticket to reserve your spot for dinner.  For more information and ticket cost, click here.

After the show, how about some scary fun?  Last year was my first year attending haunted houses.  It was so much fun.  Seaworld San Antonio has 5 scary mazes and it is included in the price of admission.

2)  Seaworld Fall Ticket Sale

Purchase your tickets to Howl-O-Scream 2014 - Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights from September 26 - October 31.  Pay for a day and come back to SeaWorld all fall for FREE, plus spring & summer 2015!  SeaWorld San Antonio Fun Card includes:
  • Unlimited admission to SeaWorld San Antonio on regularly scheduled operating days through September 7, 2015.
3)  SeaWorld San Antonio Howl-O-Scream Fear Pass

Fear Pass includes one-time priority entrance to each of the 5 major mazes of Howl-O-Scream.  For more information on this fear pass or the other fear pass options, click here.

The fear pass was great.  We drove in from Houston to San Antonio and we wanted to do it all.  The fear pass allowed us to jump ahead of the line to the scary mazes.

4)  Seaworld app
Don't forget to download the app.  It can answer any questions you have, right at the palm of your hand.

5)  Vampire Bar
There alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase.

6)  Photo opps
There are so many places to have photo opps with some of the scariest things around.  You never know when one will pop out to scare.  Seaworld is scarier after 7 pm.  I know I won't be torturing my toddler to any of the scariness but I know my teen will love all the fun!  If you do Halloween cards, this is a perfect place for the kids to wear their costumes, but remember only the kiddos are allowed to wear masks.  But no worries...

7)  Get Fanged

There are artist that can fang you, make you look like the walking dead, or add something cute but not so scary so you can join in the fun!

8)  Shamu's Rockin' Creepshow

A show like no other, right at 9:30 pm.

9) Jack is Back

Don't miss this show at 11 pm when the park is closing!

10)  FEAR NOT!

Have fun!  We had a blast with the Wildsiders.  Can't wait to go back and have more fun!  This time we might just have our costumes on!
