***Disclosure-Sample product was received for review.  All opinions stated are my own based on my personal experience.

Are your kids fans of the Transformers?  We all are.  The Rescue Bots are getting some help from some well known Transformers you all know.
Everyone’s favorite emergency first responders — Chase, Heatwave, Blades and Boulder — return for five new adventures with their Griffin Rock friends, the Burns family! And this time, they’re joined by iconic Autobots like Bumblebee and, of course, the greatest leader of all time: Optimus Prime!

Episodes Include:
Bumblebee To The Rescue
Bot To The Future
A Virtual Disaster
Rise Of The Heroes

The Rescue Bots are not just boys.  We like watching the Rescue Bots go and save Griffin Rock.  And in this movie, one of our favorite Transformers Bumble Bee, comes to the rescue.

110 minutes of adventures.  We recommend this DVD for the entire family.  This will be a perfect DVD now that the kids will be out of school.

Giveaway-Inspyr Socks

***Disclosure-Sample product was received for review.  All opinions stated are my own based on my personal experience.
As you know, I like to run.  It has become one of my passions after being inspired to actually start something I never thought I could do.  And now I like to inspire others to do the same, try something they never thought they could do.  Many people out there have never tried running or jogging.  When I run races, I always see inspirational posters that fans are holding up for family or friends racing.  I love to read them, they keep me going.
Imagine seeing these in front of you.  My son runs track.  He thought the idea of having message on his socks was a great idea.  He likes to be the leader of the pack.

I like that these socks have a self-empowering message.  This product is made in the USA.  I like that this is a positive message for my son and anyone else who sees it.

phrases like: Never Quit; Earn It; and Step Up. Unlike other lifestyle socks where designs are down the sides, Inspyr Socks feature messages on the back. This way, not only do the individuals wearing the socks benefit from their words of wisdom, but so do those following in their footsteps.

The socks feature heel and toe reinforcement with arch support and retain their form-fitting shape wash after wash.  All socks are available in youth shoe sizes 12 to 3 and in adult shoe sizes 8 to 13.

About Inspyr Socks
Inspyr Socks was created to spread inspirational, self-empowering messages to tweens, teens and adults. Whether scoring goals on the soccer field, prepping for college, or dealing with everyday stress, sometimes a few words can make all the difference.  Uniquely created with empowering phrases, Inspyr’s high quality athletic socks feature encouraging sayings on the back of the socks — so not only will the people wearing them benefit from the socks' words of wisdom, but so will those following in their footsteps.

When Calls The Heart-Trials of the Heart

***Disclosure-Sample product was received for review.  All opinions stated are my own based on my personal experience.

When Calls the Heart is such a great series.  It takes me to a time I did not live but is so beautiful to imagine.

This is a story about love… frontier style.
Synopsis-  Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow) is an independent, strong-willed teacher who has foregone the life of the big city and found a job, a home – and romance with a handsome Mountie named Jack – in the small frontier town of Coal Valley.  But when she learns that her mother has taken ill, she returns to Hamilton, her hometown, with Jack as her escort.  Once in the comparably opulent Hamilton, Elizabeth and Jack are confounded by Jack's ne'er-do-well brother and Elizabeth's former suitor, Charles Kensington.  But it is Elizabeth's father, William, who drives a wedge between them when he suggests to Jack that Charles would be a better match for his well-bred daughter.

And the trial begins.  Who will be at fault?  I can't even begin to imagine living in these times.  I like how this story reminds me to enjoy the simple things in life.  And reminded me to remember what is most important-Family.

These DVD has just been released and is in stores now.

Giveaway-Spring into Healthy-Looking Skin

***Disclosure-No compensation was received.  Sponsor is responsible for giveaway and information.

How well are you taking care of your skin?

Dr Maria Patricia Rivas says, "Months of cold winter weather can leave skin feeling parched and red.  Help your skin recover by treating it with a gentle moisturizer, applied directly after the shower.  For additional protection and moisturization, apply Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 during the daytime and remember to schedule your yearly skin examination with your dermatologist."

April showers bring May flowers...and lots of sun.  As soon as we see the sun, we want to run out with our short sleeves and shorts.  But do we realize what the sun can do?  The harmful effects if we do not moisturize or protect our skin.

Ease your skin's adjustment to summer weather with these tips:

-Moisturize skin immediately after your bath or shower.
-Treat skin gently by avoiding over-exfoliation.
-Avoid the sun between 10 am and 2 pm, when it is the strongest and use protective clothing such as long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.
-Keep children out of the sun as their skin is vulnerable.

These healthy habits are for the entire family.  Help get your kids started in the right direction by teaching them how important it is to protect our skin.  The younger the better.  These are great habits to teach the little ones for them to follow and continue to follow as they grow older.

Flick Friday-Tomorrowland Review

***Disclosure-My family was invited to attend an advance screening of this movie for review.  All opinions stated are my own based on my personal experience.

Are you a dreamer?  Do you ever wonder what if?
From Disney “Tomorrowland,” is a riveting mystery adventure.  Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.”  What they must do there changes the world—and them—forever.

My daughter saw the above poster and immediately was interested because she thought it looked like a castle.  She reminds me of Casey who always sees the better things in life.  She has no fears.  And even if she did, she wouldn't show it.  This movie inspired me and reminded me to not stop dreaming.  I hope my son received the same or better message I did.  This is a good family movie to watch.

“Tomorrowland” opens in U.S. theaters on today.

Maya the Bee Movie

***Disclosure-Sample product was received.  All opinions stated are my own based on my personal experience.

Have you heard of Maya the Bee?  It was originally a German Children's novel by Waldemar Bonsels.  The Adventures of Maya the Bee has been around since 1912.  It has been passed down among generations of families for over 100 years.   In addition to the book, Maya The Bee is also a comic book series, appeared in various iterations as animated series and now a major animated feature film.

Maya is a little bee with a big heart. She dreams of an exciting life of freedom, fun and adventure – the world is simply far too interesting to stay inside a hive! Her funny attempts to fit in bring her into trouble with the Queen’s narrow-minded royal advisor, Buzzlina. With her best friend Willy, Maya buzzes out into the meadow on an exhilarating adventure of self-discovery.

While most bees believe that other insects should be feared, Maya can’t help but make friends with Flip the charismatic and eccentric grasshopper, Kurt the dung beetle and even Sting, a young hornet. But when the Queen’s royal jelly is stolen, it will take Maya and all of her bug buddies to figure out who did it and how to save the day!

“MAYA THE BEE MOVIE” will be available in stores on May 19.

This is a cute movie.  We all enjoyed it.  We recommend it for the entire family to watch.
